James “Jim” Guy joins National Pronto Association

Grapevine, Texas, October 19, 2016 – James “Jim” Guy Jr. has joined National Pronto Association as Director of Product Management effective October 17^th.    Jim has over 30 years’ experience in the automotive industry; most recently as Purchasing Director for past Pronto member; Frank’s Auto Supply, Uniontown, PA.   Jim’s automotive experience includes sales, marketing, operations, purchasing, and counter sales.

Jim spent over twenty years at Frank’s Auto Supply and was an integral part of the daily business and success of the company.   Jim was responsible for developing cost savings techniques and creating the “Road Crew” Professional Countermen Training program.   Jim volunteered his time over the years as a Product Committee Member for both the RPM Group and National Pronto Association.   Bill Maggs, President  & CEO of National Pronto, said “We are extremely happy to bring a talent such as Jim into the Pronto Headquarters family.   Jim will be a significant asset to our membership and the entire organization.”

Jim commented “I feel very privileged to be joining an organization that prides itself in serving the needs of its members.  I’m looking forward to utilizing my 30 plus years of experience in the Automotive Aftermarket to continue this effort”.   Jim, his wife Bertha, mother, and four children will be relocating from Greensburg, PA to the Grapevine, Texas area in 2017.
